Busy Season
Within a week of raising their last brood, the robins were back nesting again. There nest is on the security light on our front porch, where we like to sit and have our morning coffee. The robins were a bit bothered at first when I sat there, and would have a mouth full of bugs and do a fly by waiting for me to leave. Realizing that wasn't happening, it finally landed and fed the hungry crew. Both parents are busy feeding the four babies and hopefully this is the last batch!
June is a beautiful month. The gardens are going wild, flowers blooming, weed growing, the grass is green and lush. There is no shortage of things to do! The chores await, and it is a perfect day for going outside. Ciao

Am chuckling to myself!!! You're Mrs. Robin came back too! Isn't it fun watching Mother Nature at work ?? .. but the 'fun' of cleaning up those unplanned 'litters' isn't .. lol ...

That's very obliging of the robins to "let you" spend time on your own front porch! The least they can do is pose for you! ;)

Yes, they came back and so quickly too! We were going to knock the nest down, so we could have the security light back...and there they were again! I thought they had to feed the babies even after they left the nest. If so, they were very busy!
Rui: I don't know how cute baby birds are...I think they are something only their parents can love; until they get their feathers that is!
Nat, I sat there with my camera aimed at the nest. The parent was bothered, but after five minutes of holding the food in its mouth, it finally came and fed them.
Bren, yes they do share, and luckily they aren't making a mess with cleanup either. At least not that I can see anyway!
