How lucky we are...
I have been reluctant to post any news about Tira , for fear that things would change suddenly.
I am aware that we are going day to day with her health, so what I am grateful for is the past few months we have looked at her and smiled, and had her smile back.
I am delighted she still follows us on walks in the field, and surprised she even came up Fox Hill with me and the gang last week. It is heart warming to see the joy she has from running in snow.
I am pleased she has a good appetite, and happily give her treats when she wants them. I am amazed when she gets the food that drops on the floor first.
I realize how fortunate we are to have had this time with her and will cherish any and all opportunities to stroke her soft forehead, to share our meals, to look at her and feel loved. How lucky we are.

Yesterday when I read your blog I were thinking of Tira and if she still were in good health! I’m glad to hear that she’s still happy and fresh enough to participate in the other Shelties everyday life. Lovely for her that she lives in a home full of LOVE

Its so important to take that time and be grateful for the blessings we are given. Tira is your little blessing and it is so heartwarming to me to see that a breeder of such significance as yourself,, shows how much you love your dogs. I believe that a person that shows such love could only continue to be bestowed more and more blessings and success. Tira feels that love and will continue to do her part to keep you all happy.
I was wondering about Tira but I was too afraid to ask you about her. I am glad to know that I wasn't wrong to tell you that she'd wait for you and Pete to come back home. She looks so lovely in the photo with Pete. What you are doing for Tira must be working well :)

We are so glad to hear Tira is doing well. It is great to see her out running in the snow enjoying the outdoors and the love that surrounds her. We feel such a connection with her through MacKenzie and Lanie. Love the picture of Tira and Pete!!
