June Litter
Valerie held off until after Pete's birthday party to have her litter. The down side was she waited until 1:30 am to have her first puppy and was done by 6:30...so it was an all nighter. A textbook whelping, she could have done it all without my help, but I was there to welcome the newborns by weighing them in and removing dewclaws.

Lovely litter ... it looks like 2 are more red than the others?? Will be fun to watch them grow up! Congrats!!

they are gorgeous! in the 3 years i have been reading your blog and lusting after your dogs (Eva) from afar, i don't remember ever seeing one with a brown leg!

Thanks everyone for your comments. They are all doing well and progressing nicely. Suzanne, Cocoa didn't catch this time around...we'll try again in the fall. We've had a brown leg or two in the past. One of our notable plain ones was BIS/BPIS Ch Laureate Laredo, ROMC. He had two brown legs and a spot on the back of his neck. Our pups have been pretty fancy recently though...thanks to Paris and Miley!
