A bit of this, a bit of that...with a lot of free spirits.
Pete and I hosted a dinner party for ten last night and we had a fair bit of preparation. We spent the day cleaning, prepping the food and then just before our guests were to arrive, Pete shouted excitedly...LOOK OUT THE WINDOW!!!! And this is what we saw...

oh my gosh is that wonderful! I love the shot with the legs hanging out of his mouth. You are so lucky to have such a nice amount of wildlife to watch.
First of all, you look FABULOUS! You've told me there are otters in the creek but I am still surprised! Otters eating frogs... I thought frogs would be hibernating this time of the year. Very interesting and exciting!!
Hi Kim, directly from Switzerland.
Today we went for a 4Km walk in the snow with special "things" on or feet with my family, my friends and their dogs. It was great.
Your pic look amazing. The dinner table is great and you look so glamourous, nice !!!!
You are indeed very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.
Kisses from a portuguese in Switzerland.

WAY COOL!!!
We have watched Mink along our stream, and there are otters in a nearby River, but we have never been so lucky as to see otters at our stream. What great pictures.
Thanks for the comments!!!
We've never seen the otters at this time of year. And because they were on the ice, we got to see the size of them. I never realized they were so big! They were diving in and out of the water for frogs...which must be at the bottom in the mud...hibernating as you say, Julie. It was a wonderful moment.
Thanks for the comments on how good I looked...it is all in the lighting! ha ha

for the holidays. The the fantastic gift of the otters.
I love otters, they are so cute,
They play with each other so cute, kinda like little kittens.
What a treat, thanks for sharing with the rest of us.
