A bit of this, a bit of that...with a lot of free spirits.
An unusually mild December day (eight
Celsius) meant a good excuse for a walk in the back field.
Stormy zeroing in on Mayer
Wipe out!
Looks bad but he got up and kept going.

Wow they had a great time :) .
You have really beautiful dogs !
Wonderful pictures!
You take the BEST action shots. I can't believe how you can stop the action and have everything in focus. GREAT pictures- thanks for sharing.

I hope Mayer gave it back at some point :). You captured their fun perfectly ... superb photos!

I love your photos and love seeing your beautiful dogs and truly envy the fact that they can run free in so much space! But aren't you just a bit anxious when you watch your next ROM bowled over and landing on his beautiful face? I have 3 shelties and about 3/4 of an acre fenced for them and the "flying teeth" really scare me as one of them drew blood on another (not by accident) and one bit another in the eye as they were flying along the fence? Do yours ever get hurt while they are having so much fun?
I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't let my dogs out for a run in back. They enjoy it so much.
The strange part is, I didn't even see Mayer being flipped over. It happened so quickly and he got up and was off and chasing the others.
There are risks...wild animal encounters, someone breaking a leg. But if I worried about all the things that could go wrong, I'd never leave the house.
We are lucky in that they all get along and (touching wood) haven't had injuries on our walks.
they are obviously having the times of their lives!
Love seeing the dogs running so wild. I let Baron have a same chance in the park at night and he never wants to come home....
