ASSA: Behind the Scenes
"LuAnne" enjoying the attention!
This was my first time showing our dogs at the National since 2003...and for the next one, I'll buy a new wardrobe. I could have been on an episode of "What not to wear"! Those that were there, know what I'm talking about; those that weren't too bad you missed the show! ha ha!Cocoa lounging in the "hamster cage"! Stormy was helping cover her with shavings by wagging her tail and dropping them on her! Next national, we'll use the absorbent pellets...they don't cling to the coat like shavings do.
Our girls were fabulous travellers and seemed to really enjoy themselves.

Love both pictures but especially the one with the shavings and four feet to the air. We are going to Nationals next year in Tucson, the last one we did was in 2004 as it was in Ogden, Utah only 15 minutes from home.
That is a great picture! Congrats on all your wins at the national; I was not able to be there this year and was sorry not to get to see your girls in person. Your pretty blue girl pictured at the top of the blog is absolutely gorgeous. I am also always impressed by how good your dogs look at home in the pictures of them you take running around in the snow and the mud- an awful lot of dogs in the same setting would be very disappointing compared to how they look in the ring, but yours are always beautiful!
Beautiful photos, the picture of Cocoa is a great moment of behind the scenes!
I present you my new sheltie, which is called Kim, hope you do not care about the honor. And sorry for bad english. http://drummondhillshelties.blogspot.com/

Hi Kim, i love the pic. But why are the dogs on a "hamster cage" ??? Do they travel like that ? It must a lot of work to take all that out of the coat.
Mine travel in a cage with vet beds.
