Anticipation!

There is nothing like the excitement of getting a new puppy! This is something new for us, we are getting a Standard Poodle puppy! Her name is going to be "Bunny" and she is coming from Halifax from breeders Allison and Todd Foley (TG). While waiting for her arrival, we have bought lots of new equipment for grooming...new clippers, more combs, brushes and scissors and we'll be installing a new stainless dog washing station. It has also gotten us going on putting together our new metal Gazebo from Costco (finally...it was bought in June!!!). And we also have a new load of pea gravel for the dog yard, and have been shovelling like mad trying to get it spread out before she comes, as it is very dirty and needs to be rinsed off. The dogs are helping by playing "king of the castle" running up and down and loving the mountain of stone in their yard! I bought several books on Poodles and grooming, but wish Allison lived closer so I could watch and learn. This is going to be fun! We'll post pictures when she arrives.
