Laureate Shelties Blog
A bit of this, a bit of that...with a lot of free spirits.
I was tagged by Cool Design Shelties to open a document or file folder,
click on the fifth folder and then the fifth photo.
Post the photo and describe it.
Then tag 5 other bloggers.
So here is the photo:
Our trip to NYC in 2007. We had taken the train down from Connecticut, where we were attending Tom Coen's seminar "The Quest for Quality". We stayed in the Broadway district, near Times Square. We had a great time, going to the MOMA, the Guggenheim and out to dinner at Daniel. We head back to NY for Westminster KC dog show in a few weeks...can't wait.
Then you have to tag 5 bloggers, so I'll tag:
Mont'Alves
Esme Shelties (need to start sometime)
Drummond Hill Shelties

Caravan Shelties
When we returned we noticed a big change in Bunny. She went from five to six months of age, and had a whole month's growth of hair on her face, feet and tail...making her unrecognizable as the former Bunny! It was cute, but in my opinion, not a great look for her.
So yesterday she had a makeover...
That is more like it!
She grew quite a bit, and is now about 20 inches at the shoulder and is eating four cups of food a day, so her appetite is much improved. She still doesn't go upstairs, so I tried teaching her yesterday. She had her nails dug in, and wasn't impressed. When upstairs, she could see the reflection in the mirror of the dogs down below and didn't quite know what to think! She was growling...and if she had could her hackles would have been raised! I went stair by stair with her back downstairs and she was relieved to be in familiar territory. She hasn't been upstairs since.
Now that we are home from Australia, I've spent the day debating how to manage my blog. In the end I decided to make a dedicated blog for our travels:
http://kimandpetestravels.blogspot.com/ if you'd like to read about our trip.
I wish we saw more dogs, and had the time to visit some kennels, but that will be have to be another trip! This was a family holiday and we were lucky to be able to visit so many beautiful places.
We had a wonderful time, but are happy to be back.
